Delivery and Freight Policy
Standard Freight and Delivery Policy
When we receive your order, our aim is to dispatch it the next working day (Monday to Friday). Within New Zealand, deliveries are sent via Courier Post using their signature required service, the minimum delivery charge for any item is $7.90 (unless 'freight free' is offered). Delivery can take 2 to 5 business days between islands and is dependant on Courier Post offering their usual prompt service. Rural addresses generally require an extra 1 - 2 business days delivery time. Some isolated regions may require additional delivery time. If this is the case for your area we will notify you of this prior to processing your order.
Delivery charges are calculated and added after you enter your delivery location and before you enter your payment details. You will see the full charge (including any mandatory insurance charges) before completing your purchase. Delivery charges are in New Zealand dollars.
In the unlikely event that an item is out of stock, you will be notified of the expected additional delay. It is shop policy that credit cards are not charged until the day of shipping. As we do not ship part-orders, if you choose to modify your order we will appropriately change the freight charge payable.
Note that higher charges will apply for large/heavy items and also for deliveries to some rural and remote areas. We will advise you by email when you place your order if a higher delivery charge is required. We will not send the goods without your approval of this higher rate.
All of our orders are sent via courier so they will need to be signed for; please make sure there is someone at the specified address to sign for the package. A card to call will be left if there is no one to sign for the delivery.
We do not deliver to Post Office Boxes or Private Boxes. Dispatch and Delivery days are Monday to Friday.
Damaged or non-delivered articles
If your article is damaged upon arrival please notify R&R Sport immediately on website@rrsport.co.nz or +64 3-474-2797
If your article fails to arrive within 4 days of delivery date (within New Zealand) or 10 days of delivery date (if sent overseas), please notify R&R Sport immediately on website@rrsport.co.nz or +64 3-474-2797. There is only a small window of opportunity for us to be able to claim for missing parcels. Failure to notify us in the above time frames may result in no refund.
Deliveries Outside New Zealand
International parcels are sent using New Zealand Post's International Air service. The maximum weight that may be delivered is 20 kgs (subject to a maximum length + girth restriction of 2m and a maximum length of any side restriction of 1.05m). Delivery to key destinations takes approximately one to two weeks. We reserve the right to not deliver to some countries.
International deliveries are sent by 'international air' service. As of 7th July 2009 this service no longers offers a Track and Trace option. If you would like this facility please contact us and we can provide a quote for the freight.
Generally Air International is delivered anywhere in the world within 10 working days. Approximate delivery times for 'international air' service are:
Air Service 3-6 days
London Air Service 4-8 days
Los Angeles Air Service 4-6days
New York Air Service 5-8days
Tokyo Air Service 4-8days
Vancouver Air Service 4-8days
If your parcel is worth over $250, there is a mandatory 'additional cover' charge of $10.00. This insures your parcel for it's retail value (for items worth between $250 and $1,500).
