Warranties and Returns

Returns Policy

R&R Sport has a '30-day no questions asked' returns policy on all non-sale items sold via this website. The 30-day period begins from the date of purchase. Items returned within this period can either be exchanged or credited. An item can be exchanged for any product of the same value or used as a credit towards an item of higher value. If an item is exchanged for an item of a lesser value a credit will be given. Credits will only be given to the same credit card or account as the items were originally charged.

Freight charges are not creditable. It is the customer’s responsibility to freight the item(s) back to R&R Sport. A credit will only be given, or replacement items sent on the safe arrival of the items to R&R Sport. The item(s) must be returned in an 'as new' condition with all packaging, ticketing and labelling. The item(s) remain the property of the purchaser until returned to R&R Sport. A freight charge will apply for the shipment of any new item(s) to the customer. A quote will be given prior to dispatch.

Please notify us prior to returning the item(s) so we can discuss the options for both the product that you wish to replace and the freight charges.

If R&R Sport inspects returned product and deems it to be faulty, we will refund both the price you paid for the product and the delivery costs.

If product has been damaged in transit please call us on 0800 RRSPORT and we will arrange to replace the damaged products(s).

We stand by the products we sell. If something goes wrong with your purchase or your goods do not perform how you expected them to – we welcome the opportunity to put it right. We have 9 stores nationwide which we encourage you to visit for more personal advice. Our staff are extremely knowledgeable and also use the products they sell on a regular basis, so they can offer genuine and helpful advice.

R&R Sport will pass on to you the benefit of any warranties given by the manufacturers or suppliers of the products we sell. Some products have a specified time guarantee. Items with this type of guarantee give the time period on the product information card. All other products have a 'lifetime' guarantee, guaranteeing that the item will stand up to the use for which it was designed. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper care, accidents or the natural breakdown of materials over time. These warranties cover material, design and production faults. The warranty commences the day of purchase.

Please keep your receipts for warranty purposes, as this will speed up the process, especially if you visit one of our stores. However if you lose your receipt – its no drama, we can find your purchase on our customer database. The warranty on the item(s) only covers the original owner. We reserve the right to replace or repair any item found to be defective.

Our liability for any claim, damages, loss or expense related to the supply by us of goods or services is limited to the cost paid by you for the goods or services except where statute expressly requires otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law we will not be liable in any event whether in tort (including negligence), contract or otherwise for any loss of profits or any consequential, indirect or special damage, loss or injury of any kind suffered by you or any other person.

Material, design or production faults are extremely rare. If you find your product to be defective please contact us. Some products will be covered by an international warranty agreement. In these cases we may refer you to a local retailer or distributor. In cases where the item needs to be returned to us we will arrange either freight or an agreed amount for freight reimbursement. PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE SENDING ANY ITEM(S) back to us. Freight reimbursement will only be given by prior arrangement.

In the case of damage to an item due to accident or improper care, we can arrange to have the item(s) repaired at a reasonable charge. Freight will be the responsibility of the customer. A quote including return freight will be given prior to repair.

Compensation

Compensation payments for loss of, or damage to, courier items sent within New Zealand are limited to a compensation limit of NZ$1,500 (plus reimbursement of postage if the item was lost). If the item is valued at over NZ$1,500 you must purchase additional compensation cover.

Items sent outside New Zealand are limited to a compensation limit of NZ$250. If the item is valued at over NZ$250 (up to a limit of NZ$1,500), you must purchase additional compensation cover. Compensation cannot be paid for loss of, or damage to, items over NZ$1,500.
