Auckland’s most exciting and diverse outdoor adventure store – and there’s 9 customer car parks!The Auckland store stocks wetsuits, surf boards, bodyboards, waterskis and wakeboards, packs and sleeping bags, bikes, outdoor footwear, boots and sandals, snowboards, skis, snow and surf clothing and kayaks. We have a full ski and snowboard workshop as well as a leading bike workshop. We have world renowned and experienced ski and snowboard boot fitters.
The store stocks leading national and international brands – Icebreaker, Giant, Jamis, Trek, GT, Marmot, Mountain Equipment, Northface, Mountain Hardware, Columbia, Rossignol, Burton, Salomon, Volkl, K2, Quiksilver, Roxy, Oneill, Ripcurl, Osprey, Vaude, Deuter, Coleman, Freedom, Merrell, Meindl, Teva, HO, Hyperlite, Connelly, CWB, Liquidforce, Channel Island Surfboards and so much more.
Our bike department specialises in providing excellence in service for everyone from the recreational rider to the serious downhiller or road racer. We have a full cycle workshop that is well reknowned for its repair quality and pricing. Our staff also ride bikes and we use their experience, paired with technology, to ensure we get the correct bike fit for you. We stock mountainbikes, roadbikes, kids bikes, BMX, commuting and serious downhill bikes.
On the camping side we also have the largest number of tents on permanent display in Auckland (25+). This gives you the opportunity to truly compare the internal useable sizes of the tents and make an informed choice. Canvas, Dome and Adventure tents and all the accessories you will need from furniture and cookers to headlamps.
We haven't forgotten our second-hand roots and we still buy as much as we can in second-hand surfboards, snowboards, skis, bikes, camp gear etc. High demand for this product means that it's often a case of being lucky and catching the right product on the right day.

Anthony
Mr Piggins, what a great chap to have around the store. If he is not working with us, he is at Cardrona as a lifty in the winter or you might see him at Piha Beach! Anthony knows alot about everything in the store from wetsuits to camping and bikes. Everyone loves him as he is such a hard worker and always helps others with a big smile.
Doug
Doug is originally from Alaska and is ex- US ski team (cross country). He used to own a bike shop in Idaho, and still competes in his riding. Back in the day he was 13th in the Idaho round of NORBA. In 2005 he was the Auckland champ for the 30+ category, and this past season was 3rd in the Single Speed section…he had to race against the young fellas. Doug coaches mountain and road biking, loves thai food and has a husky-boarder collie cross
Eric
Eric hails from Brazil. So yes, very handy if you are a tourist as he speaks about 4 languages! He is a bike guru and even represented on the road bike in his home country. Now to be found working in the bike department at the store - whether its customised bike fitting for customers, building bikes, fixing bikes and selling bikes. He also assists in our corporate bike training scheme and takes spin classes.
Suse
Suse has been in the outdoor industry for quite a while now and is very passionate about the outdoors. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to outdoor clothing and footwear, icebreaker clothing and bikes. In fact I think at last count she owned 4 different bikes! Always smiling and enthusiastic, and can give as good as it gets when it comes to being out numbered by males in the store.
