Shop Profile
The Kaikoura store opened in April of 2003 and caters to the local and tourist market - specializing in tents, camping and tramping gear, packs, sleeping bags, surfboards, wetsuits, bikes, skis and snowboards, surf and outdoor clothing and footwear. There is also ski and bike workshop.It offers a lot in the way of international brands and excellent sales staff. The store stocks leading national and international brands – Icebreaker, Giant, GT, Marmot, Mountain Equipment, Northface, Mountain Hardware, Columbia, Rossignol, Burton, Salomon, Volkl, K2, Quiksilver, Roxy, Oneill, Ripcurl, Osprey, Vaude, Deuter, Coleman, Freedom, Merrell, Meindl, Teva, HO, Hyperlite, Connelly, CWB, Liquidforce, and so much more.
The staff have been in the outdoors industry for many years
and are mad on snowboarding, mountain biking, free skiing, skating, surfing, the outdoors and travelling the world in search of adventure.
Always keen to help you get the best gear for your adventure, they will source it for you if they don’t already have it in the shop.

Dwayne
Dwayne is nearly a one man band in Kaikoura, especially in the winter months! Dwayne started mountain biking when he was 14, raced his first race at 15 in local Canterbury races and his first national race at 17 in Blenheim (Cross Country). He's been around the blocks with R&R - he ran the R&R Manchester St (Christchurch) bike workshop a while back, then the workshop in a Queenstown store called Element. He has done Shimano and Mavic courses over the years so is well equiped to sort your bike out. He has also raced NZ National Downhill series for 4 seasons and overall has been involved in mountainbiking for over 17 years now. He still loves the sport, and is working on new trails in Kaikoura, some of which are nearly finished, nice one. He is also a passionate surfer and family man.
